MY HEART LEAPS UP WHEN I BEHOLD

| William Words Worth |
This poem was composed by William
words worth .The poet gets pleasure when he sees a rainbow. This  rainbow
has been the same  for the  whole of the poet’s  life .The
poet says that  there isn’t
any  change  in rainbow .It is  same as it was in the past  .It
will remain same  in future
.The   poet says  that the child is the father of man it means
present is outcome of past .The  final to
lines link the beauty  of the nature as
seen in the rainbow  to the  feelings
.The  poet hopes that love of god,
like his love of the nature ,will be
with every day.
MY HEART LEAPS UP WHEN I BEHOLD
My heart leaps up when I behold

                        A rainbow in the sky:
So was it when my life began;
So was it when my life began;
So is it now I am a man;
So be it when I shall grow old,

                                 Or let me die!
The Child is father of the Man;
And I could wish my days to be
Bound each to each by natural piety.
